Got a conjunctivitis pink eye infection the first time I went there to use the steam room and sauna. Changing rooms smelled like sewage, had days worth of hair and dust build up around the changing cubicle edges, showers were mouldy and all the floors felt like they had a film of slime.nThe receptionist I encountered was the friendliest I’ve come across in ages, and did everything she could to make me feel welcome but never once checked who I was and if I had paid to be there. I was not asked to sign any kind of forms, no emergency contact info, H&S nothing.nBottom line… it’s cheap, seems ok on the surface but really not worth it over all.
Extremely poor. If a machine goes down, it will be down for months, they simply do not repair despite it only needing a cable and being a 30 minute job. The changing room smells, is dirty and in a state of disrepair as well, the gym staff are friendly enough but the reception desk are lazy and would not know the meaning of customer service, the management are worse still, arrogant and promoted beyond their capabilities, The best I can say is it is cheap, but I doubt it will stay so now the council are back in control. I was a member, no longer, better options in the area, all other gyms have by far a better rating
Really nice leisure centre, huge gym and nice pool. The staff are always friendly, helpful and have a smile on their face.
Great leisure centre, good gym and other facilities. Only issue is teen inclusive which takes up workers time after work.
Friendly staff who are particularly helpful at reception, easy access to classes, swimming etc. Active North Yorkshire app is easy to use. Highly recommend this leisure centre
