Travelled 200 miles from Devon to buy their fish and chips and it was well worth it as they were lovely. When visiting my daughters I always return for fish and chips here for lunch. Will be back again soon I’m sure. Lovely friendly staff too, many thanks for such a great service. Thank you Sami. We travel quite a distance to come and have very tasty Fish and Chips at Seine Rigger. On this and many other occasions we have been very looked after by Sam and James who go out of their way to make sure we are well and truly looked after. Dietary restrictions: This restaurant provides tasty gluten free Fish and Chips for people that are coeliac if required.
This is no longer the same shop, packaging was different and called Deep Blue! One star for the chips but plaice had hardly any fish in it and was nearly all over cooked batter. If I didn’t live so far away I would have taken the fish back! Don’t waste your money!!
We used to come here a lot before covid. The food is nice but not wonderful. We use another fish and shop now that always serves up the best quality food. This place is ok but your not missing out on much. The staff are moody and miserable here. Don’t waste your time.
GREAT FOOD Not so good customer care. In minus zero temperatures yesterday evening, we waited outside, freezing cold, forlornly looking on into the warm, inviting, empty, waiting area. Sadly, the staff could only carry on with their prep work and leave us out there in the bitter environment. When people are stepping out of their doors, using time, effort and cash at your establishment, it would be incredibly kind during times of extreme conditions to open the doors even 5 minutes early, welcome us in for our comfort and keep safe out of the arctic conditions! If anything, I feel sorry the staff who knew we were there, stamping our feet and shuffling about to prevent being iced onto the pavement, yet for whatever reasons, just don't afford us the good grace to escape the cold. It was really, really cold outside. A sad experience which others also commented about : Edit: Just read other neg reviews about the food - our food was piping hot and delicious. Cannot fault it.
Delicious fish and chips but at a premium price. Shame they forgot my two pots of curry sauce I'd paid for, hope they dined out on those once I'd left.Food: 5/5
Wont be going there again. At over 4 pounds for a portion of "large" overcooked chips... I was so underwhelmed I counted them. If 28 chips is considered large I'd hate to see what a small portion looks like. Feel like I've been had!
Just had large cod and chips. The fish was really disappointing. Over cooked batter and hardly no fish inside. What.was there was overcooked and dry.
Purchased a takeaway yesterday and the fish was awful. It was overcooked and very greasy. The batter was hard and didn’t taste good
Fish was raw in the middle and tasted awful my daughter had cod which was also not nice I had sausage In batter that was lovely. But chips were soggy and cost £40 for 3 of us there prices are so high for rubbish food bring back the old owners
