Visited the Gents Aintree Day on April 13th 2018. The meeting was declared on after a couple of early morning inspections as it had been very wet in the North East and the going was very heavy. Had a fantastic time with my son who pronounced the latte was better than he got at a major high street coffee chain who shall remain nameless. Also had fish & chips and a drink at the bar which were great. Topped of by three winners and a place over the 7 races, so the day paid for itself. Added bonus of live racing from Aintree on the big screen. Will definitely be back later on in the year and hopefully less muddy next time.

Pretty chilly day up at the course today(28th Nov), but great fun. Superb hospitality. Cant thank Sheila Robinson for her time and enthusiasm when showing me around. Had a winner too. All good. Richard Biddle

Went for Cheltenham preview night and couldn't of been more impressed, staff amazing, food delicious and surroundings excellent, well done.

Go here for car boot sales on Sundays occasionally, lots of variety on offer. Toilets and food on offer. 1 pound for buyers to enter gets very busy, arrive early for the best items.
