We were married at this beautiful venue in early October and we really couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We had been so impressed with how Harry had catered to our needs in the build up to the wedding that we were not in the least bit concerned that the day wouldn't go ahead seamlessly. All of the staff are so friendly and helped to create such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We have spoken to a lot of our guests since the wedding and nearly all of them have commented on how attentive and outgoing the staff were. The grounds of the venue are stunning. If you're lucky like we were and the weather holds out you can get married in the middle of the beautiful gardens. All of the children and a lot of adults had a blast exploring the place and playing with all of the lawn games that the Secret Garden provides. Another thing we were really impressed with was the food. The dishes are interesting and well thought out. All of them delicious! I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. The whole thing was so smoothly executed, eveyone knows what they are doing and it really does show. I'd like to say a massive thanks to Harry and the team for making our day so special!

Our wedding at The Secret Garden was perfect from start to finish. The team were brilliant, organised, so friendly and incredibly professional on the day. The venue itself is stunning, it was the most perfect backdrop to our special day. We had a lot of guests saying how the food was the best wedding food they'd ever eaten. The events team were brilliant at supporting us with our vision and made for a totally stress free, magical experience for myself, my husband and our family and friends. Thank you to all involved!

The most perfect venue and team for a 70 person summer wedding.  If you are considering using the Secret Garden as your wedding venue we can honestly say they delivered wedding perfection for our July wedding this year.  The venue and gardens themselves are stunning - it is easy to see from photos that is the case and it is even more impressive in person.   Therefore in this review we want to focus on the service and incredible hospitality we received throughout the entire process and especially on the big day itself.  Josie and Harry from the Secret Garden were amazing from the beginning and helped us navigate every element of putting the day together and also manage everything the pandemic threw at us.   It was always a joy and fun to work with them and they addressed the project with a level of professionalism and positivity that was always appreciated.  The day itself was masterminded and executed brilliantly by the whole team, the food stunning, everything flowed it was perfect. All the staff were incredible -  but we wanted to give a special mention to Josie - what an absolute star she has been, unflappable and always lovely.  Thanks to all for the best day of our lives! We had the most magical wedding at The Secret Garden!  The venue is beautiful and our guests were equally as blown away as us seeing the gardens in full bloom.  Our guests not only commented on how beautiful the venue was, but also how incredible the food tasted and looked!  The whole team went above and beyond for us, always ensuring we were happy and the day ran smoothly.  On a hot August day they managed to find some suncream for the children, were immediately helping mother of the bride when she had a bee sting and also provided us limoncello shots before our first dance! You couldn't want for more attentive and professional staff taking care of you.  An absolute highlight for us was being allowed to have our horse come for photos in the garden, the staff were incredibly helpful on the day coordinating this. We had a lovely wedding day here on a Tuesday in August. It was only 15 of us but it was the perfect day and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend

We got married at the wonderful Secret Garden last week. Even though the weather was against us, we had the most perfect day. Josie and the team were outstanding with their attention to detail and ensuring that our vision for the day was delivered.  The venue speaks for itself, as it is stunning and is very special to us anyway, as it is the last place we had afternoon tea before my mum passed away in 2017.  The staff are very attentive and organised. They ensured that we had everything we needed and nothing was too much effort on the day. They went over and above for all of us.  The food was amazing and the feedback from our guests about the menus on offer was great, the best wedding food they've had! So, compliments to the chefs!  All in all we didn't want it to end. The glasshouse was very cosy and intimate once the sun had gone down and the perfect romantic setting for the evening.  We had the best day and would highly recommend the Secret Garden for a wedding!! Thank you to Josie and the team once again!

I had booke The Secret Garden for a friend's baby shower. When we arrived the venue looked fabulous and everything we had asked for was in place, as well as having heaters on for us as it was really cold, that was a great touch. Just wanted to feedback the the staff that attended to us that day were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble and they were very polite and professional as well as being personable. Really helped with the smooth running of our event. And thank you to Harry and team for always responding in such a fast manner too and all your support with last minute dietary requirements! We will definitely recommend your venue and we wouldn't hesitate to make a future booking. Thank you.

Beautiful wedding venue and the staff are very attentive. They made our day and exceeded our expectations. The garden is beautifully maintained and none of our guests said a bad word about the food. We would highly recommend this venue!

We recently got married at The Secret Garden, and have nothing but admiration and glowing praise for this outstanding venue and its dedicated team. Most of our wedding planning and preparation was conducted with Harry, who from the very outset got on board with our laid back and relaxed approach to the big day. Throughout the process Harry and his team made us feel like we were the only wedding they were holding and made organising the event in 6 months seem utterly effortless, even including some unexpected last minute changes and some quirky requests… cutting the cake with an axe? The whole team was fully with us for this.  On the day itself Harry, Amy and the rest of their team made sure everything went perfectly for us, getting hitched without any hitches or certainly none that we were ever aware of!. The direction and orchestration of the day was seamless, everyone politely ushered to where they needed to be when they needed to be there. The bar staff were incredibly attentive, including making sure that myself and my wife always had a full glass or even a cuppa when we needed it.  The food at the venue was immaculate, both for our day guests and evening guests, with accommodations made for those with dietary requirements, right down to hand delivered, vegan platters for in the evening! One of our guests only managed to get one picture throughout the whole day and it was of his vegan platter, and we still have guests messaging us about the ribs a week later.  The venue treated our vendors wonderfully, making sure that any load-in of gear was easy, they were fed well and treated with the utmost respect, honestly this friendly, welcoming and gorgeous venue was a real dream come true for us.  We feel very lucky to have picked such a perfect wedding venue on the unluckiest day of the year - Friday 13th.
