Superb fish and chips from this place, portion size was just right, gravy was lovely too. Staying locally in lodges and will be back for more!!!

Nice food, friendly staff, shame everything is served on polystyrene trays with plastic forks. Come on, you're by the Menai Strait, with the school of ocean sciences next door. Ditch the plastic like Scarlets in Rhosneigr

I have tried here twice now and the food was awful. The fish batter was undecided and soggy. Both times the chips had been cooked at least an hour previously.  The staff can't manage a smile.
Won't be going again.

Love this place for pie chips peas and gravy!

I go with the wife occasionally and we haven't had a bad bag of chips yet, never been served with a smile though...  4/5 star for the chips would rate 3 for service.
