It's a fantastic chippy. Chick nuggets are excellent. Fish is fresh and well cooked and battered. Chips are very tasty. Would be great if they served gravy. Would recommend if you're in the area and fancy a good fish and chips.
We ordered Rock and Cod, both were cooked fresh, delicious and tasty! Large chips was plenty between two, highly recommended
Freshly cooked fish that was tasty, coupled with a decent portion of chips accompanied by a spicy curry sauce traditional for a North East person. Friendly staff, I would recommend this place or should that be plaice. Although fairly expensive£20 for 2, fish and potatoes have gone up in cost, it was good quality, not greasy and as a treat worth it.
Excellent fish and chips . Large fish is huge. Large chips are even larger. Great value.
Used to be a lovely, friendly fish & chip shop. Tonight, for the first time, the new management rudely said I could not wait inside with my small, well-behaved dog. Instead I had to stand outside in a freezing wind. Then both the fish batter and the chips were completely soggy, yuk! Not a happy experience, they've lost me as a regular customer.
