Came here last July and loved it. Lovely little day, informative and very clean. So nice to just watch the sea life and so interesting; you can tell they are well looked after which is the main thing. It is quite a small place and doesn’t take long to look around but I’d still recommend, we had a lovely time .
We were dubious about a visit with Covid happening. Granted it was not as interactive and we missed the "feeds" but it was laid out beautifully!! No worries about being to close or rules not being adhered to. Both our girls loved it!
Brilliant socially distanced family day. Time slot booked, hand wash on the way in with temperature checks at the desk. Then quiet family exploring all the way through. No crowds, no rushing, very well organised timings to give your family a calm enjoyable day out.
Plenty to see and do, even with the current restrictions in place. Staff were brilliant, especially Sheree on the welcome desk and the Scottish-Geordie seal keeper who gave us a very informative feeding show. Highly recommended and well worth supporting.
A fascinating afternoon was had here, seeing lots of different sea creatures. Rays, seals, spider crabs, jelly fish and much more. Bits of the building look a bit tired and in need of some TLC, but definitely worth a look!
Lovely seeing the animals. My baby loved it all the bright colours. The staff were very helpful too with current circumstances we tried to book online but couldn't get on. The manager said it was fine to book us in. Luckily it wasn't too busy. Wonderful place to take your kids =
Lots of enclosures. All very clean and easy to spot the creatures. Friendly and helpful staff happy to have a conversation about the animals.
Brilliant day at sea life nice friendly team working there and lots of different marine animals, as well as lot of description and information on the animals
This is a brilliant aquarium and definitely deserved all 5 stars! Loved the 'Ascarium' halloween theme! I bought a 'Green Moray Eel' from here for £12. Not a too bad price as the toy is rather long! Loved all the animals - a thumbs up from me !
