Great place to park to go for a stroll along the beach. Sadly, the greedy Durham Council have decided to fleece the public with extortionate costs, more than an hour will cost you £3.00. Plus point is the beach is now nice and quiet.
Used to live in Seaham and would come here most days now never go and subsidquently don't visit the shops in the area. I've found a new walking spot now. Feel sorry for the van people who were always in the area now probably have to park elsewhere. Never thought Seaham would turn into finachal tyranny.
Easy access to the beach, bays are nice and big and usually there’s spaces available. Parking is a little expensive, however it is still free after 6pm if I’m not mistaken.
Normally drive to Seaham a couple of times a week to walk our dog, sometimes we do breakfast or lunch or just a coffee but we haven't been back since the greedy councilnhave brought parking charges in, I refuse to pay for parking so I can spend my hard earned. Greed greed greed
