We booked the apartment for one night and we couldn’t sleep for one second the three of us. Whoever closed the bar that night forgot to switch off the jukebox and load music was on from midnight till morning. Went downstairs and nobody was available to help us with the issue, I personally messaged the owner and no reply at all or apologise. He should’ve had the decency to apologise and refund us for not being able to sleep at all.nSo disappointed, we actually had dinner and drinks there, the service was excellent. Pity that it had to end up with this.

We had an amazing nights stay. We have friends in Whitehills so the location was perfect. We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival and our room was lovely and beautifully clean with an amazing huge bed. Followed by an evening in the super friendly bar. A wonderful nights sleep and woke to a fabulous Scottish breakfast with our friends who were allowed to join us. We will definitely be back

Cannot fault the service and the human food was amazing and big portions but we planned a trip here based on the Doggy Menu we found online, looked amazing but the reality was much, much different - a bowl of dry feed and a couple of rawhide snacks, not exactly what the menu implied. Also, no harm done but if you pride yourself on being dog friendly you might want to ensure that your patrons respect other dog owners by keeping theirs under control as opposed to launching themselves at other dogs on entry - not the welcome other dogs and humans expect or appreciate.

We were at our friends 50th celebration on Saturday the 19th July. We were treated to the best service ever. The  young ladies serving were busy but the service we got was the best we have ever received. They were pleasant and nothing was too much bother and I can't express how busy the Hotel was as the Gala had been on that day. The food was top notch and everyone's food was hot and well presented. The young ladies are a credit to the hotel so friendly and everyone was as important my husband and I were so impressed well done we will be visiting again and very soon. Also the prices were really reasonable we had such a lovely evening Thank-you, Ari and Jim Watson

Great place such a lovely part of the world really made me feel at home .nThe food is to die for from a great breakfast to exceptional evening meal .nThe open fire is so cosy  hard not to fall asleep lol .nThis honestly deserves 5 starnCan't wait to return see you all soon
