Good fish n chips! Massive portion sizes in my opinion.. Very filling. Ordered haddock and chips and prawn, scampi and chips. Everything was fried nice and crispy. We had a banana fritter for dessert and unfortunately the banana was not ripe/sweet enough, although it was also fried perfectly. We dined in as a large group and the waitress was lovely and attentive. Would recommend.
We had a lovely fish supper with a chilled white wine. The chips and cod, very crispy and not greasy at all. Friendly service too. We highly recommend the Seafarer and will visit again when next in Broadstairs.
Great fish and chips- freshly made. I had large cod and chips for £11.90 and there is an OAP Special- small cod, chips and a cup of tea or coffee for £8.50
Not the cleanest looking places tbh but the chips are good I am a regular user and I've always enjoyed the food but these days even the chip shop is not inexpensive and has gone up in price a little every time I go. Eating out or take away isn't cheap these days. But I would recommend this chip shop for a take away I have not sat in so can't comment on the service side of this.
Had a large cod and chips The cod was cooked but it was not very tasty and discoloured. Complained to staff but informed me it is fresh and locally sourced. Won't be going back in a hurryFood: 2/5
Really disappointing size of cod, it was a similar size to two fish fingers put end to end in a sad, weird tasting and mainly empty batter shell. The chips were ok. The battered sausages were also tiny. I would not come here again as I don't think it's very good value for money.
Really disappointed with the portion size. When I asked for more I was refused! I was given a child's portion, I've posted a photo as proof. I've been coming to this chippy for years and won't be back. I've never had fish and chips and been left feeling hungry before. Perhaps it is under new management? The owner is a rude aggressive little man who has a nasty temper. The premises could do with a proper clean; The Seafarer is grubby and tired much like the owner!.
If you're visiting Broadstairs, I'd highly recommend a visit to Seafarer's for a delicious fish and chips. The food was fresh, the portions generous and the service was warm and inviting. Thank you Metin for being such a wonderful host!
Great fish and chip shop. Fresh fish, proper handcut chips and really helpful staffFood: 5/5
