The Sea View has been with the same family for many years. No wonder it continues to maintain such an excellent reputation. Food made on the premises and it shows with the high quality. Never had an individual meat pie quite like the ones served yesterday. Top notch! Lee Thompson heads up a great team with nothing left to chance when it comes to service. Always willing to discuss, agree, and implement any special arrangements.nOnly downside we found was that when requesting water for the table, it was served in plastic cups/glasses. Just didn't fit in with everything else which was impeccable.
Excellent food, friendly and efficient service. Ordered blue sirloin and it was cooked to perfection and piping hot. Partner had the mixed grill, excellent value for money and all very well seasoned. So many places just put a bland chicken breast on the plate but the chicken here was lovely. All veg crunchy and fresh, chips chunky and delicious too. Nice range of drinks, cosy atmosphere with both dining room and bar area available.nBonus points for the lovely dogs sitting in the bar!
What a PUB nice quite, a massive thanks to Vic, who treated us like royalty letting us watch last day of Cheltham Cup in A Little side room very welcoming, had the best day out in a long time, I got a child’s meal burger & chips it’s was really nice obviously iv ate some ships before picture, thanks again will definitely be bringing kids here for food Thanks again
We had a lovely evening meal here, the service was good and the food was excellent value for money. There was a good selection of beers, wines and spirits as well as soft drinks and hot beverages. The menu is not large but there is a good variety of food to suit most people.
We have dined here before and it has always been good and our recent visit was no exception. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was good, not portions that were too big to finish but certainly enough. The atmosphere was friendly and clearly there were a number of regulars - always a good sign.
