AVOID SOUTHAM CHIPPY!! Bought mine and my sons dinner from southam chippy tonight only to find a bug on my chips!! After offering me a full refund on the phone I took the food back to get accused of being a bug catcher and putting it on the food myself I went in polite and in the back where food was being prepared to be away from other customers to get this resolved to find an extremely rude manager who couldn’t have a civil conversation. The female manager also present also told him to calm down as he was becoming angr, throwing his arms about. Then he refused to give a full refund that I was promised on the phone from the female manager. All I wanted was to eat my dinner that I asked for not with a side of bugs
Very average fish and chips - portions average size for the price. Cash only which is really confusing this day and age - even the fish and chips van takes card. It's ok - not as bad as some of the reviews on here will have you believe. But if the fish and chip van is near you that day then I'd take the van over this place any dayFood: 3/5
Tasted ok. BUT all I can say is the next morning was not pleasant. Update. Now another 12 hours later 2 out of 2 of the family who ate Cod from this place last night have stomach cramps and feel ill. Dirty Dirty Dirty. Scary to think what we have eaten. Will never go back to this place as you get some free extras that you really don't want.
Just had fish and chips from here as visiting my friend who lives in Southam. They were awful! Fish hard and dry with hardly any fish in the batter at all. Chips dry, maybe overcooked and mushy peas weren’t even mushy and they were cold. Will never return!
Visited tonight after a gap of a couple of years. Pleasantly surprised! Nicely cooked chips and good thin, crispy batter without any soggy white gunk inside. Everything hot and tasty. Only criticism is that the standard fish and chips is way too large! I would be happy with about 2/3 sized fish and 1/2 the chips!
We had the best cod and chips tonight from Sea Star in Southam . Absolutely delicious fresh and so tasty . Thank you x Merry Christmas to all the staff x
I was working close to southam and called at I would be within minutes of closed when I arrived, they told me not to worry asked what i would like and cooked it for my arrival, fish and chips were lovely staff were great. Told me if I was ever in need again to call ahead. Fantastic service thank you
Friday fish & Chips. Marvellous. Very quiet, hopefully that doesn’t mean anything and I was just lucky. 9:30 on Friday night, thought it would be busier. Nothing pre cooked. Order fish so need to wait 7 mins. Just enough time to do this review.

We ordered chips , vegetarian spring roll and cheese cake triangles. Food was good and hot .curry sauce was thick and tasty. Portion of chips was huge. Would definitely recommend this place . This place is cash only
