Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. All staff are friendly & helpful. We had a mixture of dishes and all were delicious. Cannot fault any of the food. 10 star food and service. Would always recommend and somewhere to see different doggies too. That makes this stay a lot better for us, than anywhere else.nnNeil and the team work very hard, it was a great first time experience. We will be coming again, even if it’s just for a drive out. 108 miles was worth the drive for this food.
Amazing themed pub. Walls lined with different sands from the beaches of Ireland. You could even listen to the shipping forecast on the loo!nStaff were friendly and efficient and found us a table quickly even though we hadn't booked and it was busy.nPay and display car park outside.
The food was ok, nothing special. We both had Welsh Rarebit with a poached egg which was barely warm. Coffee was good, tea too... Nice and strong. Service by a pleasant French lady was great. It was busy but not cramped. A nice ambience.nStrangely, they don't seem to want people who drive vans in the cafe as there's a headroom bar across the car park entrance. We had to park elsewhere, some way away. I knocked a star off for that.
Seafood restaurant just seat right next to the beach.nnDelicious fish and chip pair with the curry sauce.nnThe Hake with rice and tomato opens up your appetite with the slightly acidic taste.nnThe fish are all tender.
Visited the Sea Shanty Cafe on a very wet and windy day. The place is super with a unique decor fitting its name, Sea Shanty.nThe atmosphere matches its decor and gives the cafe a fabulous atmosphere.nThe Cafe was very busy when we visited. The staff served food to a very good standard very quickly and still found time to be very friendly and helpful and attentive. I had Fish and Chips with my wife giving Smokey Roast Chicken. There is a great Ice Cream Parlour at the front.
