I have ordered food online for collection from here for a number of months and always been frustrated that it still takes some time for it to be ready after I arrive at the indicated time, but this week was even worse than usual. The serving staff seem to regard the customers as an annoying interruption to their chatting and I finally received my order 20 minutes after arriving and paying. When I spoke to the “manager” he just shrugged his shoulders! I will be returning to the Zenith henceforth – the food is much better quality and whilst it is further for me to travel it will still be quicker for me to collect from there and return home - and at least I will not have to suffer the appalling attitude of the Sea Master staff.
Ignore the bad reviews, this fish and chip shop is where its at! Lovely and Crispy fresh chips and huge portions delivered to my door! Highly recommended!! 1st time using and will be the 1st of many deliveries.
Cod in batter was awful, batter was soft and gooey, couldnt even get it out the box without it falling to bits. The sausage in batter was cold and rock hard obviously been cooked the day before and chips were semi warm and for a large portion we got about 20 chips and the rest were small over cooked scraps that were inedible. I honestly used to rate them but wont be going back.
Just fancied fish and chips today Good portion, tasty fish and nice chips, curry sauce is different and could do with being a little thicker with a bit more taste but overall i enjoyed it !
Food was good, a bit to fried. No extra salt. A bit expensive for me. All staff is in rush, what is not good because you are not important for them
We phoned our order through at 17,55, paid and expected the food 30, to 45 minutes, bearing in mind we live 6 minutes from door to door. Phoned at 19,hr to be told out for delivery,,, 19,30 phoned again will be with us in 5 minutes, 19,55, 2 hours after placing the order finally arrived,,, only to find it was wrong,, phoned again spoke to the manager, about items not on the order to be told they don't do them,,, why have them on the menu???? Few choice words phone off,, never order again,,
I have used Sea Master several times with no problems and the quality has always been good except for my last visit. I paid by card and noticed the display said approved. The assistant then said that payment hadn't gone through and to present the card again. I said that I was sure I saw approved but she said no. I re-presented my card and she said it was fine that time. While I waited for the order to be prepared, I thought I would check pending transactions on my account via my phone. Unsurprisingly there were two transactions for Sea Master for exactly the same amount for that day £19.60. I showed the assistant and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. I asked to speak to the manager. He said that I hadn’t been charged twice and one of the transactions had been canceled. I told him that that couldn’t be right. He told me to come back tomorrow after he had time to check with the bank. I went back the next day when he refunded the money back to my card with no apology and hardly looking up. Shop keepers are in a position of trust and I can’t help wondering how many times this "unfortunate" "accident" has occurred without being noticed by the customer. Just one word sorry would have stopped me leaving this review
well to start when i went into the food establishment i was rudely greated by a brunette girl with braces, when i was given my food i throughly search through it and i was distraught and disgusted when i found what seemed to be head lice or some sort of bug, as she was serving me i could see her scratching away at her scalp i’m not impressed with the health standards of this food establishment i expected a lot better as my children normally eat here i will be reporting this to the test valley council inspectors and i expect it to be resolved and action to be taken immediately.
We love Sea Master the food is always hot when it arrives and well cooked!! We also know that it will take 45 mins to an hour for delivery so usually order roughly about that time before we are ready to eat so we were very surprised to hear the doorbell ring 10 minutes after we had ordered this evening! Amazing service as normal! Thankyou very much!!!
Really pleased with them, cod and chips from here are best in Andover.
