Greeted by happy and knowledgeable staff. We were allowed to look around. Staff showed us some great samples with great quotes inside our limits. We recommend the Manchester ScS.
Brilliant service from here for the 2nd time in the last few months and a breath of fresh air compared to other brands. We were served by Phil both times who is probably the only sales person I've ever dealt with who has the perfect balance between being professional and personable. Nothing was too much bother for him and he went above and beyond to make sure our measurements were accurate, that we were ordering something we would really love and helped us with a finance term that suited our monthly budget. Completely different to our experience at DFS which was less than pleasant. We highly recommend SCS for a friendly and pleasant buying experience.
Terrible! We settled on a sofa and started to go through the sales process with a male salesman. The member of staff could not answer most of our questions regarding the number of cushions and which fabrics we could mix which didn't fill us with much confidence. When it came to the optional 3 year protection at almost £300 we told him that we didn't want that as we always look after furniture. He would not take no for an answer and kept saying "it's up to you but...". After 3 times of me saying "No" he still wouldn't give up and he appeared to be frustrated with that answer. I then lost patience and decided to take my money elsewhere so I stood up with my partner and told him that we would go to Oak Furniture Land and buy a similar but much better sofa. Well done SCS, you lost a substantial sale because of your pushy sales tactics. I don't buy under pressure and yes, it is up to me if I don't want something!
Just ordered our new sofa with the help of janine,very helpful young lady. All staff were very friendly who we spoke to even helped us when the store had actually closed. Very pleased with the order and cant wait to sit on our new sofa.
Charged an awful lot of money for what was received. Spent £150+ on new carpet grippers and they’ve used the old ones and not told us, what a rip off. Also didn’t put the door bars down we paid for and we’re currently trying to have them fitted. Also, the carpet is bumpy and isn’t fitted properly. They tried adding £240 to an order placed also so had to cancel that. Can’t talk to a manager to discuss the issues and staff don’t seem to care as they don’t acknowledge your situation. 1000% wouldn’t use again and I’d avoid like the plague if I was you. Update - They’re generic reply is laughable, considering I’ve already spent the morning on the phone trying to sort these issues and been told the matter can’t be taken to a manager and nobody will assist further. Additionally, you don’t normally provide 5* service, read your reviews!? Shocking. Guarantee there is no follow up and they’ve posted that reply to make it look to new prospective buyers like they’re sorting the issue. Abysmal.
I bought my G-Plan sofas and a driftwood coffee table from Scs. Super sturdy products and great value for money. Super happy with both products.
Bought two sofas today. Rav was very kind and patient explaining me every single detail and helping me to choose the best fit for my house. He did his best and I really appreciate it. 100% recommended.
Very helpful and friendly. Took the time to explain how the different features and functions worked and got prices for the set without a price ticket. No hassle and not pushing for the sale. Lots of free parking.
