This place is getting worse for waiting times, the staff in the back really need to stop tossing it off back there.nIf you’re in a hurry and you’re happy to take a hit on a gallon of fuel it will be far quicker to driver to the Houghton or Durham branch
Every time I visit this store the service is 100%. Staff make the effort to get to know you and collecting supplies is seamless. There's never a bad experience even if the awkward customer in front is giving the staff grief. Absolutely faultless and my preferred branch to collect from.
Great Helpful service from Owen this morning, As an oldie I made a mistake when ordering earlier in the week and boy did the two guys I dealt with make me feel stupid! Jobsworths is what I would call them. So refreshing to go in this morning and pick up the correct item from Owen, patient when I was looking for the text and took the radiator to the car and put it in the boot! More staff like Owen please! - Very pleasant and Refreshing
Terrible customer service. Stood at counter for nearly 10 mins whilst customer was being served. No acknowledgement from the several staff that appeared to be in the store. A customer then came in after me and once extra staff appeared they served that customer before me. Fair enough as they were a trade customer and were instructed to go through to the trade area but the original serving staff member then finished serving the first customer and along with another colleague then continued to ignore me and walked away from the counters to the back of store. I walked out of the store and won't return again.
Faith in humanity restored. Allentastically screwed and fixed, Absolutely megatasticly ultrawonderful to everything, the universe and Gateshead. Totally recommend these people 100% to all humanity, and all of you people reading this, and everyone else too. Thanks screwfix.nwe love you screwfix.nnhuzzah's
