Be extremely careful when returning items you’ve bought via website click and collect.nnI bought 3 tubes of silicone and returned 2 of them 11/04. I had paid by PayPal via click and collect and the guy serving me took my confirmation slip, he didn’t provide anything in return and simply said I’d receive an email at the end of the day.nnI’ve not received the email, nor have I received my money. I’ve called customer services and there’s apparently no record of me returning the 2 silicone tubes £19.98. Currently waiting for them to get back to me after checking CCTV. This is a terrible experience.nnSo if you return items you’ve bought online, make sure you take a picture with a date and timestamp of the items and the person who served you so you don’t end up in my situation.nnHopefully I’ll get my money back.

Placed an order for ‘24 to 48 hours’ collection to be told it wasn’t going to be ready for up to 72 hours. How does it take 3 days for what use to be next day delivery? Ended up going to Toolstation and managed to get it same day
Exceptionally helpful, the staff can't do enough to help. I have been in Screwfix 3 days running & again tomorrow, every time the staff go out of their way to assist. Tom served us today & was superb & the young girl on the till remembered us & was really understanding when we had to change some items. Perfect friendly, knowledgable service, thank you.
Click and collect shows item in stock. Ordered it, got text message and went to collect from store to be told it doesn’t come in until tomorrow. Asked them to deliver it to customer address instead because of the wasted journey. They said yes but you will have to pay for the whole order again. Tool station just next door so went there instead and got everything straight away.
