We usually visit Leyton and Ilford branch. Popped into Chadwell Heath to buy a few things. Duty Manager Jodie was really moody and rude. I had forgotten under which surname our account was. As a business owner I have multiple businesses under my name and my partners. Jodie was rude and said we should know our name. I tried to explain this but she was being rude. Other the that the other staff were very respectful and helped me out.
Duty manager was very helpful in advising me, even checked the product that the conversion was included. Wish all branches had staff with the same positive work ethic. Credit where due.
I bought a door lock from them and when I get home that’s wasn’t fit into door so after 1 hour go back to return the item and The manager over there told me that you change the item because description colour is different and item colour is different. So they didn’t refund. It’s their manufacturer fault to put the wrong description on it and we’re facing. When I try to tell him it’s a same item and he starts rude and bit angry. So All happened in hour maximum and my money gone like Rishi Sunak .
I visited a nearby Wicks and it didn't have the product I was looking for. I then found Screwfix via Google. Quickly checked online and found my product in stock. I drove to the Screwfix lunch time and saw signs for parking wahey they have parking for customers and approx about 6 -7 bays , 2 bays marked for those with disabilities. Parking for customers is a real big deal for me it helped so much and then I simply walked a few yards to the shop front.nnIt wasn't busy inside, so approached the counter, and was greeted by friendly professional staff who i found very helpful. Paid for my item by quoting the item number and waited 2 minutes for the product its like Argos in terms of you pay and someone then comes along with your purchase. They also have a screen for you to use to check stock and reserve or you can click and collect online then visit to collect.nnI didn't know it was this easy and I will be using Screwfix more now. Thank you for the excellent service.
