Newish restaurant on the Greenock waterfront with beautiful interior design. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Experienced various servers who were all pretty friendly. There was a slight mix up with one of the food orders which was rectified quickly although the correct dish when it arrived was a little undercooked probably because it was rushed through. No major problem though as was vegetarian dish. Soft drinks were comped as a means of making up for mistake. Would recommend the mushrooms on toast starter!
Beautiful decor, delicious food the Sunday Roast was excellent & the service is the best I’ve experienced in a long time. Professional, friendly & slick. Fantastic experience & well worth the drive from Glasgow. Well done to the team.
Came here for some lunch. First time.nThere was three adults and were put onna small table which is definitely only for 2 people. So not a good start. We had startersnWhich were good. The mains were steak pie And mac & cheese. All were very good. I ordered desert which didn't arrive. After waiting 15mins I just asked for the bill. Server said did desert not arrive. I said no.nCan I have the bill. Bill didn't arrive for over 25mins & my dining guests were getting fed up. I even had to ask manager for bill. As server busy dealing with new customers.nReally ruined the visit. Also charged me fornDesert we didn't have. Don't think we will return .left tip for server.
Thought we would try here for lunch.nWith my wife and son. We had starters and main meal. My wife had the chicken tempura. She thought was really nice.nI had the haggis neeps & tatties. Which was very nice. My wife and son had steak pienBoth agreed the pastry was too hard. Both agreed it wasnt worth £18.45. I had the mac & cheese. Which had a nice flavour. And thought was very good. I also ordered loaded. Fries.. i didnt eat as they were rock hard. My son said to me his were hard too.nI ordered desert which didnt arrive. So i asked server for bill which didnt arrive. For over 20mins and we just wanted to leave. I went to the bar and asked manger for bill. So kind of ruined the experience. Because we had to wait so long for desert not to arrive then wait to long to keave So only 3 stars. And chatged us for desert we didnt have. Dont no if we would return again
A little bit expensive but worth the visit for its vibes, people who are serving there and of course the food!nNever had an amazing delicious lobster creamy mac and cheese like the one they serve there. It is mouthwatering, tasty, fulfilling and it can be good for 2 if you are not that hungry. Their fish and chips is also big and fresh. The crispiness of the fish was good and the haddock was well cooked. All the stuff there are happy and smiling, from the lady who welcomed us at the bar to be seated, to the guy who brought our food, another guy was serving us and brought us the bill, to another lady there who was working hard and smiling at everyone in the place. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended place.
