Booked direct on Scottish Riverside Lodge - self catering holiday accommodation Facebook page. Place was beautifully furnished and equipped. Sat right on the river Devon banks. Close for shopping. Excellent location and price. Lots of history and day trips out. Couple of nice restaurants in the village of Dollar. Will definitely recommend and definitely return
Very luxurious and comfortable lodge with everything you could need. Nice friendly people on the park. 15mins walk to Dollar & very central for Edinburgh , Perth , Stirling & Dundee.
Lovely clean site. Beautiful lodges. Very quiet. Good dog walk down by the river. Well worth a visit
Just come back from a stay 1st September 13 weekend. Site had been quite run down but is now looking much neater and tidier with all the hard work put in by the new managers Antony and Liz who have just recently taken over running the park and are working tirelessly to get it up to scratch. Very friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. Very neat flat fields for camping/touring and adequate toilet/shower facilities which are kept very clean. I understand some of the toilet shower blocks are going to be replaced and believe they are going to install a childrens play area in the very near future. Scenic riverside walks and a walk up through the glen is a must. Dollar is a small village and generally unspoilt. If you like lots going on and bustling noise this is NOT the place for you. We will definitely visit again and see what other improvements have taken place at the park. WELL WORTH A VISIT
We actually stayed in July 2012 but had completely forgot to review....The owners were very new at the time but were the loveliest people. I stupidly forgot towels which they happily loaned us some. There was a detailed pack of local places of interest. Loved it :-
It was just a short visit, under an hour. The park warden was pleasant, very helpful. There's a nice wee river that runs along next to the site.
Place was better when it was a touring and static caravan site the damage they have done to the river bank is an eyesore
It's small quiet just the spot for a recharge,
This was one of the best caravan park people friendly and accessible to Scotland was great
Lodges were lovely. Clean and tidy.
