The Scottish Catholic Observer, Scotland's only national Catholic newspaper, was established in 1885 and has been serving the community for more than 130 years.
The SCO covers all news of interest to Catholics in the UK and features local, national, and international reports.
Weekly editions contain features, columns, opinion pages, letters, education news and reviews in addition to regular reader competitions and resources for the Catholic community including a weekly Children’s Liturgy and lay readers’ guide and a monthly Gaelic column.
The newspaper is available in 98 per cent of Scottish parishes across the mainland and the islands and it can also be ordered by postal subscription and sent to anywhere in the world.
