Story
We're a long established, family business

Scott Storage is a long established family business which takes great pride in its roots, and its commitment to combining traditional values with a thoroughly modern approach to service delivery.

The business was established in 1924 by Tom Scott, the great grandfather of the current Managing Director and CEO, Martin Scott, who is the fourth generation of the Scott family to run the company.

Interestingly, Scott Storage' first telephone number was 772 which has been retained to this day, but is now incorporated in the six digit local number of 524772.

The company started life as coal merchants & removal and storage contractors, and visitors to their offices can see photographs of one of their original vehicles, an old Morris Commercial with the 772 telephone number as part of the livery.

Over the years the company diversified into various branches of the transport and haulage industry, including removals, furniture storage, warehousing, Iveco commercial vehicle dealership, oil reclamation, international relocation and worldwide shippers.

Brand new purpose built storage premises for 2015

Scott Storage specialise in offering secure, convenient and cost-effective self storage solutions to domestic and business customers, including our new mobile self storage service.

In keeping with their ethos of embracing new challenges and opportunities the Company is also focused on offering modern storage services, including a wide range of storage concepts and sizes, from large storage containers to mobile storage and also self storage rooms and small lockers.

Scott Storage enjoys high levels of repeat business from both long established and new customers who appreciate the Company's high levels of customer service, care and efficiency.

2015 will see the Company open the first phase of its superb brand new self storage facility in North Hykeham, Lincoln.

This new storage facility will provide excellent local access to the rapidly expanding business and residential areas, and is perfectly placed for Lincoln's western bypass for customers located further afield.

So whatever the self storage or archiving requirement, Scott Storage will continue to offer the best possible solution, by building on an 91 year long history of combining traditional family business values with up-to-the-minute, best practice service levels and deployment of ‘state of the art’ technology.
