Good decent café. There's nothing fancy about this road side diner, but maybe that's what it is so good about it. It's very clean, run by very friendly, amiable staff serving good food quickly. The menu is mostly breakfasts served all day, and burgers which sound amazing, there is a large enough selection of traditional British dishes to keep most tastes happy. I'd happily bring the family here as much as I would a work colleague. Highly recommended.

Great food bit pricey

We really enjoy the breakfasts at Scoffers! Always well cooked, well presented, good quality and reasonable prices. Good choice on the menu though we usually have the bargain breakfast - just enough for us! And you can swap an item - sometimes I prefer mushrooms to tomatoes! Great staff too!!

Great road stop. Good friendly staff, comfy seats, good food, good prices, heck even the music was great. Perfect pitstop place.

Good basic food.  Cafe like surroundings but always clean.  Staff helpful and err on the side of caution with gluten allergy which I prefer. A favourite for breakfast at the weekend and can get busy.  Sunday lunch worth a look too.

First time being there, had a bacon sandwich and it was one of the best I have ever had, it was three slicrd of bread and filled with two layers of bacon. All freshly cook and very tasty. The other two in the party had a deep filled baked potatoe and cheese on toast that was also well covered with cheese. Reasonably priced, worth a visit if in the area.

Don't get me wrong, the staff were lovely and very friendly and I suspect the eat-in fried breakfasts are great. However you knew it was coming didn't you? The coffee was awful and, after fighting through two mouthfuls, I decided to surrender and poisoned the car park gravel with what was left. The bacon bap was adequate. My conclusion is cheap & cheerful do not always go together. Keep the staff; Dutch the coffee.

Great breakfasts, good selection of home cooked lunches etc also. Reasonable prices and generous portion sizes. Comfortable surroundings  former Little Chef plenty of parking, and doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is.

Scoffers is a bit of a throw-back to a bygone era, but it delivers so well that it makes absolutely no apologies for this.  The food is great, but not cheap. The service is functionary without going over the top. The place is clean. You go in, you get fed and then you leave.  It's well named and does exactly what it says on the tin.
