The two dishes we ordered were delish! Quesadillas and eggs on pulled pork. The filter coffee was also good!
Great breakfast and brunch spot, right in the heart of Ranelagh. I really appreciated the pricing of the offering, everything around 10 Euro and very good quality avocado toast with eggs, rich and well made. The interiors could be better,it's a bit tight and very difficult if you're party is more than 2people All in all, recommended!
Simply excellent food. Great brunch option for the weekend with a variety of great dishes. Totally recommended, both homemade cakes were delicious.
Located in the heart of Ranelagh, Scoff now occupies what used to be Hobbarts. The big difference is the new menu, moving away from the traditional cafe style breakfast and lunch menu to a more healthy continental style, you can still get a traditional breaky, but there more health options than before and for really competitive prices. Cosy seating, clean and easy to relax in. If your around, gonin and try the veggie scoff for breakfast, a great feed for only €10.
Seems this is a new place. We walked in and had brunch on Saturday. The menu has a nice variety, with good items for the health conscious. I had the Mexican eggs dish, and my husband had a regular breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. The food was delicious. It's clear the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. The portions are generous, and the service was amazing. Would definitely go back.
We stumbled across this welcoming cafe and so happy that we did. The owner was so warm and the staff were incredibly friendly. The cinnamon bun was dangerously addictive and the quinoa salad was very satisfying and you could tell it was made with love and care. Great atmosphere and seating inside.
Such a delicious Sunday brunch. The place was packed but our food was ready in no time. I require a gluten free diet and the chef made me feel like he really cared to make sure there was no/minimal cross-contamination, even though it was very busy. I had the vegetable stack and it was super tasty, filling, and didn't leave me in a slump. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly, which is sometimes hard to find in Dublin, if I am being honest. I would definitely recommend and return in the near future.
Had a breakfast there and ordered scrambled eggs instead of fried what we got was not scrambled eggs but more a fried egg broken up. Bacon was over cooked sausages were not a breakfast sausage and I think they had mustard seeds in them which could be lethal if you were allergic. Butter portions put on hot plate so when you went to butter what I assume was a very very lightly toasted panini had to pour butter. Not a great experience at all.
To scoff is to eat quickly. Not here. Took several requests to get coffee! Breakfasts were limited...no more Mexican egg dishes nor French toast. Communication was apparently a challenge as chef delivering meal wondered whether we were sharing the poached eggs. Nope, not going back.
Nice little coffee shop in Ranelagh, new but it was a different coffee shop before. Food was very nice but the very loud conversations around us lose Scoff a point. Never fear hipsters, avocados are on the menu.
