A very special, progressive college, with degrees in Holistic science, Sustainable economics, Sustainable farming. Degrees awarded by Plymouth University. Until recently, the College was part of Dartington trust for about 32 years. Now trying to carve an independent path forward.
I took part in the short course on Co-creating an Emerging Future, which was truly amazing. Fantastic facilitators, wonderful fellow participants and an incredible place to study, reflect and discover together
5 star reviews. That says it all. Schumacher is really focussing on global sustainability issues. Great courses and amazing presenters. But also the staff are committed and impressive in themselves. Do come on a course. But save up first!
My PhD researcher and I have been invited to Schumacher for dinner to discuss the work of Tagore here in South Devon. Looking forward to returning to try the food in the refectory.
Fantastic experience and visit in September 2015. It will stay in our memory forever.
