About Elstree branch:- Some prescriptions they send electronically to the pharmacy and some they print and leave them to be picked up. Why they print prescriptions and do not send them electronically? their answer is 'for some reason'! Every time I request one particular medicine I have to to call them to send it to the pharmacy. They cannot do it on their own. They sent it to Bushey branch that I do not go to because it is difficult to find located in a residential area rather than at Elstree that I go to on a main street. They have deemed me to belong to Bushey because of my post code when I have applied at Elstree and never go to Bushey. They expect that I pick it from Bushey, drop it at the pharmacy who will take few days to get it because they do not stock it and then go again to recollect it from the pharmacy after few days. A process that involves going 3 places and will takes at least a week if not 10 days. If I am working as usual it will be hellish to arrange the time because they close before I finish work. Every 3 weeks I have to go through the same process: chase the prescription that is delayed and get the same answer they do not know why but for some reason it is printed and I have to call them to send it because they cannot send it without being called. What can take 3 days to be ready ends up taking at least a week or more The reception is very slow, answering the phone is very slow...

Who ever gave five star must be a member of staff. I have also been with this doctors for many years Infact 59 years. I am having serious problems this week getting an appointment with Elstree or Bushey for an urgent sick note i require for work... I just dont know what to do... Every morning i call the surgery and they say they are fully booked, but keeping calling us every morning. terrible service....

takes at least 40 mins for the reception staff to answer the phone, terrible service.

Having been with the Surgery for 32 years I cannot praise the staff and the receptionist's enough. They are always so helpful and knowledgeable and professional. NHS at its best.

The worst or the worst. Service is ridiculously slow and not much help. Forever waiting for them to pick up the phone and as soon as you are in with the docotor they can not wait to get rid of you. Do not recommend this surgery.
