This place is disgusting. My Son and his partner had their engagement party here and I would not recommend it to anyone.nnThe place needs a good clean and a complete refurbishment. It's so old fashioned.nnThe bar staff were beyond rude and one of them was a real busy body. All night I had her coming up to me about trivial little things. It ruined my night but I was determined it wasn't going to ruin my Sons.nnHonestly save yourself and book somewhere else. You'll regret booking here.
AMAZING FIREWORK DISPLAY nnNice little club, great for functions and other local events.. Sports are also played, also available to hire for events
Went here for the yearly firework display and bonfire. Best fireworks ive ever seen and ive been to alot of displays around the country. Fireworks lasted nearly 40 mins!!
Dreadful experience, we had a family function here and the room was absolutely freezing cold, first we were told the heating takes a while to warm up, then the heating was broken and maintenance was on their way, sadly the freezing temperature spoilt the whole event, we had babies, children and elderly there, completely unacceptable. Most of us left early to go home to warmth. The fire extinguisher was taken off the wall to prop open a door, a major H & S breach, the minus temperature to add. I would NOT recommend paying to hold an event here especially in the colder months. I did notice on leaving the radiators were pipin hot, although regular customers and members of the club had started to filter in. Very disappointed.
Bang average. They keep the place clean, and it is really just a basic bar. If you want a beer then go; if you want something a bit more sophisticated you're going to need to find somewhere else.
