Didn't stay here, just came for dinner. Just simple pub grub. Nothing special but OK! Good dish and chips! Wouldn't reccomend the 'homemade wood fired' pizzas - definitely a packaged base into the oven! Very helpful staff despite being very busy. Thanks for a nice meal.Service: 4/5
Nice hotel and spacious clean rooms. I was a bit worried that we would hear the noise from the pub but it was quiet. Breakfast was included and good. All in all I can recommend the place due to the excellent price/quality ratio.Rooms: 4/5
Lovely place, popular with locals and visitors. Great food and drinks. Friendly staff. Have stayed here in the past and found rooms clean and very comfortable. Hope to be back soon.
Great food over several days. Surpassed on one night by a fantastic Beef fillet cooked by a Michelin star winner who's name escapes me now but he was visiting from Edinburgh. Very friendly staff
Had lunch here. Food lovely, good portion and service with a smile. I had my 2 dogs with me. Very dog friendly offering water treats and more.Service: 5/5
Popped in last week for food. Service was excellent, it was busy and there was an extremely difficult customer in, staff were exemplary. I dined alone, didn't feel rushed, as is often the case, in fact staff extended my time on the table when the banter got good. Cracking staff, magic boozer and my dinner was spot on. Just popped in for some food, staff were friendly and git a seat no problem. My partner had breaded fish and chips i gad the chefs steak pie with potatoes and veg plus a soft drink each. Food was hot and tasted good, we both enjoyed our meal. I got served mine in a bowl which was kinda odd. Reasonable priced too thumbs up.
