George Pace’s Modernist chapel is well worth a visit if you’re in the Kettlewell area. It Is Grade II Listed, and the chapel is available to view by calling the office in advance to organise access, as there may be prayer or events going on. I didn’t realise this and wandered in without asking first sorry!. People were lovely and welcoming. It’s a beautiful space and it’s a joy to see such a stunning chapel which is clearly much loved and is well used There is free car parking on the site. Pace is renowned for designing ecclesiastical buildings, notably the chapel at Keele University. The chapel sits in harmony within the surroundings and appears to rise from the hill.
Excellent place to stay the grounds are beautiful, surrounded by trees and fields, lots to see and the staff ie family of Christians that run the place are so welcoming. Definitely going again, cannot wait
Amazing set up. Bit of a maze to find room. Very friendly and food is good.

Wonderful hospitality. Very welcoming, comfortable bed, convenient BATHroom, plenty of hot water, excellent meals and fun activities including table tennis and Scrabble. I also enjoyed the talks and services in the Chapel.
A very warm welcome by all in the community. My room was very clean as was the whole house. The chapel is beautiful as is the grounds. The food was very good as was my whole experience. Highly recommend you visit
Lovely place, amazing views and very tranquill
Scargill is a welcoming Christian Community. Their vision is that guests will meet with God through their hospitality, teaching, worship and surroundings. And their aim is also that guests are never knowingly underfed!!
Have been a guest here countless times over many years. The location is fabulous, the buildings and facilities are lovely, and constantly improving, and the hospitality is always wonderful.
A truly lovely place to visit. You are made to feel so welcome from the onset. You can pretty much do as you please whether it be prayers, singing, reading or walking the countryside is stunning! it is up to you. The food is delicious and everyone who works there is friendly and caring. If you want somewhere peaceful then I can't rate Scargill highly enough.
