One of the best east yorkshire places to visit for great walks, shopping
Fantastic shopping centre. No through traffic in town. Perfect for pedestrians. Plenty of eateries. Scarborough is a great place to shop, eat, and day by the glorious beach.
It's a nice coastal area to go to for the beach and the arcades to keep the kids busy. The town centre is a little run down but that's the case for most seaside communities. Good transport links with plenty to go including Peasholm Park, sea world, the beach and more. Would recommend Whitby as a nicer alternative for a good town centre with shops and stalls.nNorth Bay holds all the usual seafront attractions such as ahops and arcades. South bay has the nicer beach, sea world and Peasholm Parm
Normally go Southport on West Coast as its closer on train but Scarborough was worth the 4hr train journeys. Already booked hotel again for Autumn
