Ordered my daughters uniform 3 weeks before the summer holidays . I was told one Friday it will be there to collect , but when I got to the shop they said it’s the delivery people’s fault and will be the following Friday , still no parcel for the uniform. Also I noticed the man in there , selling peoples orders before collecting to other people . I requested a refund , that they gave me and went to the other uniform place, who dealt with my daughter straight away and was able to receive her uniform that day . Totally would not recommend this place and the communication is terrible !!!
So I ordered my son's PE kit on 22nd of July because apparently no stock.I waited 2 weeks then popped in and was told delivery will be this week,waited another 2 weeks then called and was told waiting for tops to come in, should be this week.Went in last week and they just had a delivery and was told the stuff will be ready that week. I had enough and went to the other uniform supplier and got it on Tues,went into Scallywags asked for a refund which the lady did,but to my surprise instead off giving me a refund they took the money out,went into day explained what happened,they wanted to put it back on my card,I asked for cash as they can't be trusted ,so got cash Very unprofessional service in the shop and had it turned around on me like I was being rude.Must add the younger staff working there are great just the owners,I would not recommend this place to anyone. I feel sorry for the young staff.
First impressions were good, they had almost everything we needed already in stock and they were helpful. One item wasn’t in stock so it was paid for and ordered. Two months later still no item and no communication. Tried emailing no reply tried calling and left messages no response called and was told we’ll call you back in 10 minutes no call back went in and asked very politely if it was there yet as I was concerned they’d forgotten the order mistakes happen the man who owns the shop was really polite and tried his best to solve the issue but ultimately couldn’t say when it would arrive but reassured me they’d not forgotten me and they’d let me know within a few days. A week later still nothing so I went back in and asked again. The lady who runs the shop does not communicate, she ignored me then eventually asked what I wanted, I explain, she wondered off. She came back later and said ‘15 minutes’ and then wondered off again. I asked why 15 minutes, she didn’t reply. The young man in there asked if I needed help, I said to him she had said 15 minutes but I don’t know what for. He tried to help by looking through boxes. Eventually after he couldn’t find the size I needed I asked for a refund. That’s when the lady finally explained that she’d told me 15 minutes and the item was being embroidered for us. When I pointed out that she hadn’t explained that, she became very rude. I get that they were getting a lot of negative feedback from customers which must be very stressful but it’s their own doing as they do not communicate properly and clearly can’t cope with the demand. The older and younger man couldn’t do enough to try to help but she was awful to deal with. We ended up getting the item finally and I truly feel sorry for the owner as it’s clearly a stressful time and he’s been let down by staff and suppliers but better customer service is desperately needed. I won’t be back.
Just been to this place to get uniform for my daughter, for them to be awful to a lady who worked there! Telling her to not serve or go on the till and she’s “taking too long serving customers”. These people need to treat their staff nicely! The shop is awfully scruffy also! No actual school clothes on the shelves!
Rude customer service in store and on the phone. Not been updated on my order. They said if its the wrong sizes we can change before the end of August as they had nothing in stock to try in the first place but its a week till the end of August and still not received my order, so how it will be ready in time for September school start I have no clue. I have called numerous and they have been so rude in the phone saying there is nothing they can do. Avoid this shop for uniform its shocking. Will not be returning.
An absolute shambles of a company. I ordered a blazer for my son on July 13th, it wasn’t ready for collection until August 22nd - when I went to collect it they had given me a blazer for the wrong school. They assured me they’d sort it and then gave me a girls blazer, stating “there wasn't much difference”. I asked for a boys blazer which they ordered in the wrong size. Three time consuming mistakes and all I got was a childish “uh oh”, “I don’t know what you want me to say” and “it’s just kids doing the packing, they always get it wrong”. 3 days until school starts and my son still has no blazer, despite ordering 8 weeks ago, and I’ve not had an apology.
Appalling. Really wish I'd read more of the Google reviews first. Ordered two gymnastics leotards for my daughter, emailed every couple of days asking for an update on my order as I heard nothing and it was for a competition. Eventually received an email saying that the products hadn't even been in stock at the time I placed the order, and couldn't be obtained from the manufacturer. Fortunately I have been refunded now, but I absolutely would not recommend buying from this company online.
I have been to the shop twice to get school uniforms. The first time, about two weeks before school started, the shop was busy but well staffed and customer service was professional, patient and helpful. The assistant helped find the right size of blazer, trousers, skirt, blouses, PE top and bottom for my daughter. We didn’t feel rushed at all, my daughter tried several sizes for her uniforms until she found the right fit. The second time was only two days before the school started, when there was a queue outside the shop–which is understandable: it’s a family business, serving schools. We waited patiently outside with the other customers. When it came to our turn, again, we had very good service from the staff, who were always polite and helpful. It was easy to see how hard everyone works in this shop, and they deserve our support and patience.
Went I to shop a few days ago to find sizes for the uniform my son that we needed and was preasured into buying everything he "needed" when I have a friend that works at the school he was going to and was told that he didn't actually need most of the stuff they said I would need. Absolutely awful shop with mostly pushy workers and overly expensive products, overall not worth going at all
I am utterly appalled by this company. The customer service is diabolical, I am still waiting for an order. Taking money without delivering the goods is theft! I rang several times, no customer service skills whatsoever. I spoke with one woman who sorted the delivery for me, then when nothing was delivered I rang, to be told I hadn't paid for delivery. Lie, I have proof that I did, was the same woman who I spoke with. Told me to be quiet and listen. Then she hung up the phone. This company needs to be shut down. Stealing from people, which is what they have done with me, is a crime. Disgusting! Are you going to deliver my son's school uniform that I paid for delivery?
