Set amongst eight acres of beautiful gardens, at the heart of Leicestershire’s picturesque countryside, this country house hotel provides a refreshing change from contemporary venues, enabling our guest uninterrupted restful surroundings, welcoming dining areas and mouth watering menus.

Scalford Hall Hotel is a three star hotel with 77 well appointed bedrooms, two stunning suites nine meeting rooms, 10 syndicate rooms and a large event room catering for up to 100 guests. The Pavilion is our latest addition - a state-of-the-art marquee catering for up to 500, perfect for events, banqueting, weddings and conferences

In addition there are 2 private dining rooms and our landscaped gardens include permanent team building equipment.

Classic place — you feel like you’re staying at the local squire’s hall, located between two charming little villages and featuring mile-high ceilings above overstuffed leather club chairs and couches grouped around fireplaces (it was warm when we were there so no fires but we saw stacks of wood in a giant antique trunk). They’ve just undergone a management change and I gather we were some of the first to stay since the handover. The decor is eclectic — country hall with modern metropolitan touches in the rooms, like funky accent walls and pillows. Definitely ask about afternoon high tea — so fun.

lovely friendly staff. make you feel special. few problems. how ever they was recifide straight away. my husband and myself appreciated the atmosphere. it's quite and this is what we needed. well worth a visit if you need 2 chill out 4 a few days. Thank you 2 all the staff that works at this friendly hotel x

Nice hotel, big comfortable bed, clean bathroom, nice buffet breakfast. Smell of moist/damp in top floor corridor. Unfortunately gym and games room out of action for refurbishment

The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially Fernando the F&B manager. the place and rooms are dated but the food was exceptional. The chef has some fantastic and tasty ideas. it's a shame the dated decor and cleanliness doesnt match the food and service.

The Shining! No draught alcohol bottled beers insanely priced!, cash only no credit cards, mattress wayyyyyyy past it felt like sleeping in a Frank Spencer or Faulty Towers bed, Pillows should not creak when you rest your head on them!! room next door left TV on all night my TV kept turning itself off every 60 sec staff setting up for a wedding in the middle of the night making a racket (God help you if you actually want to get married in this Dump!) Found out that this place went into administration and it really should have stayed in administration staff didn't have a clue. Breakfast not so bad not brilliant but breakfast staff very pleasant. Just needs a kid on a tricycle some twins and a garden maze and this place would be entertaining.
