Lovely day out. So many strawberries and they were so sweet and fresh. No admission fee and price of strawberries were unbeatable. Lots of strawberries were rotten as they were over ripen. Quite in a Monday morning. The coconut crunch biscuit in the farm shop was very tasty.
After bringing strawberries home and checking the weight turns out we pick up strawberries worth of £15.65. But we pay for them over £21. Check your weight twice to be safe
I attended here with SENSE about 3 weeks ago with our holiday makers. Truly a wonderful experience, the different smells of all the fruit grown here is amazing and fresh and to pick your own enhances the experience with the basket provided. This was always something I wanted to do and I'm so glad I did, i loved choosing what strawberries I wanted. A full basket costing £15 was so worth it. It's not the same grabbing a punnet from the local supermarket in comparison to getting these organically grown. Honestly if you want my opinion - Go and visit, it's a beautiful site and spend a few hours gathering fresh fruits, surrounded by nature. It doesn't get better than that
Lovely place, big area to pick strawberries, gooseberries and blackberries. Ample amount of parking although off road. They only accept cash at the PYO part of the farm so remember to take cash, it is reasonable priced. There are some strawberries set up high so you don’t have to bend down to pick them, however the majority are on the ground. There is a little farm shop/cafe too for you to enjoy.
28jun2020 - Had a lovely time picking strawberry from the field. Spent a good time with family on this trip. There is plenty to pick if you are prepared to bend the back. Plan to go again and spend an afternoon there. Spent £3.42 for a basket of 1.3kg of strawberries. Tip - search for strawberry in the middle of the field, if possible at the start of the season. At the end have a great day and help the local community.
Lovely place to come and pick your own strawberries and other fruit. There was loads of room to park and it was nice to pop into the farm shop for some ice cream
The staff were excellent. Enjoyed fruit picking with the kids. Shake Covid has spoilt the full use of the farm shop.
Lots of lovely fruits to pick and of course the star of the show is the strawberries. So fresh and a lot tastier than what you'd buy in the shops. Very nice activity to go do with family. The cafe and shop are also great.
Lovely place to spend time together with family while picking up strawberry to eat. Good price too.
Great place to take the kids. My son loved exploring the fields full of different fruits and picking them, he never got tired of it. The prices are great too. Almost a full large basket of strawberry’s for £5!
