They have a good selection of fires at different prices and a nice showroom to have a good look. The staff there were knowledgeable and answered any questions. However, there installation prices are totally eye watering! If you are wealthy, then by all means go and have them install it, but to general members of the public, you will be disappointed as they will not do anything to lower their prices. This is a shame as they lost our business purely for this reason. We found a lovely local company in the same area that were much better and gave us the same quality of installation that you would expect
Tried to order stove glass online as they instructed when I emailed to make enquiries . It insists you use PayPal. On calling to ask about just paying by card they hung up on me when I was trying to explain I don't have and dont want PayPal. Nice!
First class service needed replacement glass for our log burner fortunately I had made a cardboard template of the size and shape of the glass went on Sunday and Pam went to see if there was any in the workshop but there wasn't but said we will get it done by 11clock had phone call all done ready for pick up
Saxon fitted a wood burner in my home a few years ago. Excellent work at a reasonable price. Recommended!
A great shop for wood and stove accessories, plus actual stoves if you want a new one. I only wish they had an entrance directly from the canal towpath.
We had excellent service from Pam and Gareth at the showroom, making sure that we got the best wood burner for our needs , and Dave and John the fitters were very professional , and did a great job on the installation - we would highly recommend Saxon.
Great service from the moment we walked into the shop to the final fitting. Excellent knowledge, efficiency, workmanship and friendliness.

For those who buy from Saxon, be aware there is no after market support once the guarantee has passed. Our flue is leaking and you would have thought there would be some support, maintenance, service that they had for previous clients. Nothing. Not a jot. We wouldn't have originally bought from them if we had known there is no maintenance support for what are inevitable failures. Further misrepresentation aplenty then given the response. You did indeed install two woodburners to myself and Mrs Hamilton, no idea where you got Mrs Wallace from, 7 years ago, to an address in the SY10 postcode. The flaunching cracked in under two years and we had to have someone out to do that, and then most recently the flue on the woodburner began to leak. Phoned this morning to seek assistance, no details were taken with regards to the original order, I was just told in no uncertain terms that you do not provide any after market maintenance for any installation that has occurred after the guarantee expires. No lying but I do take umbrage that you would think that I am, we still have the receipts.
First class service. Really pleased with our so clean, no trouble electric stove. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Thank you Paul and Gareth who did everything necessary and within a few days.
