Fantastic service and a great local business. John and the team sourced and fitted a new set of wheels for my road bike and also fixed the front mech that another bike shop had failed to fix. Highly recommended.

I have signed up for my first triathlon so i needed my road bike serviced. During the service it was found to have a number of issues including worn out hubs. Jon phoned me to discuss the various options and potential costs incured before undertaking any work. I opted for some new hubs and wheels, combined with the the full serivce which included brakes, cables, clean and lub etc, the bike rides as if it is new. I was very impressed by the service that i recieved. Thanks!

My front mech decided to stop working 40 miles into the Dunwich Dynamo (not that I realised what had happened until 20 miles later). Popped into Sax Velo this morning and she fixed the problem in 5 minutes for no charge. I bought a tool as I didn't feel right to leave without contributing something other than a demonstration of my mechanical incompetence. A great example of the sort of service that builds a loyal customer base and I was pleased to see a constant stream of punters in the time I was in Sax. Many thanks again.

I've been twice. Once to get the broken cassette off my rear wheel so I could fit the new one I'd bought. I was told they didn't have the tools to do it and I'd have to buy a new rear wheel. Today I went in because my Carrera One has different valves to the family bikes and my pumps and adaptors weren't actually inflating the tyres. I thought these guys will have a pump that works. Instead I was told "oooh I can't think what's the matter. You must need new inner tubes!" What? Both inner tubes all of a sudden are no-good? Again I come away with a ridiculous piece of advice from a bike repair place! The tyres aren't flat but have softened and nothing seems to increase the PSI.
