Great place to shop local. It has, like most small businesses, gone through hard times with the fires of Sauchiehall Street then Covid. But this the oldest market in Glasgow has picked itself up and dusted itself down. A refurbishment and with all the traders now on one floor its making it much easier to find all your favourites. Books, sweets, cake, tailoring the list goes on, you name it. It will probably be available here. Go in help support local traders in Glasgow. You'll have a real treat of a visit.
Went to Tommy's cafe for the first time, served by two lovely friendly guys, tea was a little cold as urn didn't have enough time to heat up, we were early, but the guys gave us fresh hot tea to go, a gesture a lot wouldn't do. Highly recommend this wee place, bacon roll was ace.
Walked through on two occasions, first time by accident when looking for somewhere else. Contains some really interesting retail establishments that you don't see on the High Street, well worth a look. . .
I dunno if this used to be a great place a long time ago but it's stuck in whatever decade that was. Chinese food looks good inside and a shop selling cheap drinks and snacks but that's about it.
The best watch repair guy in Glasgow Pat and very reasonably priced batteries.
Been run down in recent years But still has some decent shops left
Great for shopping, getting something to eat and getting your hair done
The Savoy shopping centre its now been Glasgow for good few years. Is this style of shopping still in demand. Yes it is local retailers in Savoy offer real personal service. Its always worth while going in for look to check out whats in store. Some local traders do offer some great deals. The place coupld do with we bit more TLC thats why gave 3. image was taken in Sept.
