If you have a dog don’t bother - attacked by wasps!!!! Food bearable but you don’t get a chance to eat it as attacked by wasps! Such a shame as was much better BEFORE RENNOVATION! You can not sit inside with your dog. Service slow so pile up outside and in of food and leftovers and 1000s of wasps!!! Asked if we could sit inside by door and they said no and that’s wasps were out of their control even though jam is everywhere!!! Don’t bother - go to Virginia Water lake cafe instead!
This is a Pru Keith outlet apparently. I recall her company also provided food to the UK Pullman rake of the Venice Simplon Orient Express and very good it was. In jarring contrast was the tasteless, compressed and dry beefburger I had today. Included was a limp piece of lettuce, a slice of yesteryear tomato, a splodge of mayo, no onion or gherkin, a stale bun that had not been acquainted with the grill and a piece of cheese that looked like Lego - it's nearby! The chips were certainly shaped like them. I ate a proportion of the meal, I am diabetic and it was force majeure, but grief it was poor. Ms Leith will know you are only as good as the last meal you served. This was 1/10 and scored only because it existed and I needed the carbs.
Lovely cafe great for a rest and a bit to eat. The cafe had run out of brownies and hadnt replenished so that was a downer as i only went to the cafe for the brownies.
Decent food but very slow service. Especially ordering. Quite expensive for not having table service
