Absolutely loved our stay at Saughtree Station B&B. Rob and Rach were fantastic hosts and it was a pleasure to meet Jeff who kindly started up the train for my train driver husband. Would 100% recommend a stay here if you get the opportunity.Rooms: 5/5

Saughtree Station is a fabulously quirky and stunning B&B with lovely hosts Rob & Rachel who have thought of everything to make it a perfect stay. We were looking for somewhere to stay overnight for an event at Kielder Observatory and found details online for this former railway station that has been beautifully restored into a cosy B&B for 1-2 people 2 single beds. We were so happy that we booked - amazing views, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated rooms, loads of thoughtful touches chocolate, snacks, milk and juice in the fridge and a fantastic breakfast.  It's one of the most unusual and nicest B&Bs that we've stayed in and we highly recommend this lovely place.

Superb weekend away staying at Saughtree Station. A unique set up, there are only two single beds and the bedrooms are the former ticket office and ladies waiting room. Top notch cooked breakfast is included and there is a generous hospitality tray. Evening meals can be pre-arranged and these again are top notch. The pictures on the website don't really do it justice, it is lovely, as well as the bedrooms there is a compact and comfortable seating/dining area and a very serviceable shower room. The hosts, Rachel and Rob, host very well, very amenable and very friendly and nothing is too much bother. The uniqueness of the restored railway station is fantastic, it is really out in the peace and quiet of Liddlesdale and it is a grand place just to switch off for a few days and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Best nights sleep in years so peaceful and quiet! Rachel and Rob are lovely people, friendly and professional. The train ride was a treat and unexpected. Thank you! Fabulous, generous and tasty breakfast. Clean and tidy and everything in working order. My only complaint is to myself for only booking one night!

Fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended  for a peaceful, relaxing break away. Hosts are very friendly. Either B&B or for a further cost evening mealwith notice when book if you have allergies, again with notice they can cater for most needs

Delightful B&B on the old Border Counties Railway. Peaceful with gorgeous views. Rob and Rach cant do enough to help you and the breakfast and evening meal were delicious. Only two single beds so you get your own station for a night. Brilliant place

This place is absolutely beautiful. Rachel and Robb are fantastic hosts and do everything to make your stay  perfect. It is a unique stay and is very close to Kielder observatory. Would 100% recommend.Rooms: 5/5

Not actually stayed but it's the ultimate location for someone who likes old railway lines. It has historic rolling stock at the platform and an enthusiasts private line!

Highly recommended, excellent service, great breakfast choice and B&B presented in a unique way. The location is outstanding. A must try place to visit.

Stayed here in August. Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend it.
