My partner and I pop in from time to time as we enjoy the atmosphere, food, drink AND the staff that work there. We walked into the cafe just before 4pm on Sunday 8th April (we did not know it closed at 4pm) and we did not get the feeling that they were annoyed at all that we walked in close to closing. Their hot chocolates are amazing, as well as the pastries we had. Their food is always amazing as well as their customer service. The bloke behind the counter with the vest and tattoos is always very kind and the owner is always very welcoming. Love sitting in and enjoying the good vibes the place provides. Thank you

Our first proper Melbourne style latte in 10 months. Very impressed with the quality of the service and coffee. Milk done to perfection, bon soy, understanding of the machine, the time, the science. Passion for the coffee. Tomorrow back to try the food that looks amazing too! Worth a trip down from Central London just for a coffee. [update] food is incredible too!

Great food and ambience, but one young waiter (tattooed arms and a suit vest) has zero clue what good customer service is. Happy to just leave you standing at the counter while wiping down some surface for minutes before even looking up. Arguing the toss over how to make a coffee when all you want is a coffee made the way you politely requested, then serving it his way anyway. The rest of staff are awesome and the place is fantastic!

5 star ambience, 5 star service, 5 star food and 5 star coffee. Great place to while the day away in a comfortable and cosy surrounding. The coffee is wonderfully crafted and the cakes are exquisite. My new regular!

I have since edited my review from 1 year ago. The coffee is great (that hasn’t changed, proper Aussie-style flat whites) but the staff are so rude that I regret coming back every weekend, and only because I live close by. It’s a family-run business but with no idea of good customer service. Hire more staff, so everyone is not always stressed, and preferably with a happy attitude!
