We drove a bit for this one and it was all worth it. Had to wait to get a table as it can get extremely busy. We were hoping the Kingsbury branch was open but wasn’t. The food as usual did not disappoint. We enjoy South Indian food and it was perfect for us. Everything tasted as it should. The name brand still lives up to it. Service was efficient and fast as well.
Saravana Bhavan at Rayners Lane has been a staple in my culinary journey for the past six years. I find myself drawn back to this South Indian haven at least once a month, and for good reason. The food here consistently surpasses the quality I've experienced at other branches like Southall and Wembley.nThe menu is a treasure trove of authentic South Indian dishes, and in my quest to explore it all, I've rarely been disappointed. However, certain dishes hold a special place in my heart. Pongal, a savory rice porridge, is a must-try, though its availability may be limited to specific days. The Masala Dosa, a crispy crepe filled with spiced potatoes, is another crowd-pleaser. But it's the simpler dishes that truly shine – the Curd Rice, a cooling and comforting blend of yogurt and rice, and the Chole Bhature, a hearty combination of chickpeas and deep-fried bread, are both out of this world.nThe service is generally efficient and friendly, though the restaurant can get quite busy, especially during peak hours. Despite this, the ambiance remains warm and inviting. Whether you're a seasoned South Indian food enthusiast or simply looking to explore new flavors, Saravana Bhavan in Harrow is an absolute must-visit.
Hello. Well worth a visit but go early as you're not able to reserve and the place can get very busy. Lots of dishes to choose from on the large menu. Its a vegetarian and Jain restaurant. Good atmosphere and attentive service. Thank you.
One of the best food places to go to without any regrets! I have been here many times and the food have always been amazing. Good thing is they do North and south Indian together so cravings for both cuisines can be satisfied together: the best Dhosa place in London, definitely recommended 200%. And the service is excellent. It's a win-win.
Near harrow, one of the three satavanaa restaurants in UK.. Researched a little about the saravanaa restaurant chains and found out that there are only few which are the original ones and this is one of them.. Good food. I had chana battoora and it was exceptionally good. saravanaa is famous for their tea as well. Good staff , good ambience and tasty food
