The food was amazing, staff very polite, calm and helpful. Ambiance was warm.. Very lovely place to bring your friends/family. They probably do the best dosa in town. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 star is because of the price. Its incredibly expensive compared to other restaurants however its a very demanding and busy restaurant so I can understand why.
The place has a nice ambience. Visited the restaurant for lunch. They do not serve papadoms as would many Indian restaurants, just got the chutney on the empty table. Ordered a mixed Platter for starters. The waiter said the dish was made of 2 pieces of each meat. All the items had the same flavour, so we did not enjoy it much. Also ordered spicy chicken, but it seemed more like a chicken 65. For mains we ordered a lamb dish with some roti. The quantity of the dish was very less but the taste was not too bad. I would recommend going to this place but it might be a bit expensive for the quantity.
The food was fantastic, authentic and not too expensive. The waiter were friendly. I definitely will be going again!
The food was terrible. The chutneys they provided with Masala Dosas looked too watery. The masala was really bad and I haven't had such terrible food for a long time now. The staff were mostly polite. But looking back, I regret my decision to go out there for a meal. I should have gone elsewhere. I ordered passion fruit juice and that was bad and it tasted like. My friends ordered tea for themselves and even that was not good. We could have made better tea ourselves using teabags at home. Don't go there especially if you are looking for good south Indian dishes.
The food took about an hour to get there and we did have a slightly big order but compared to other places not too far away, this was way too long. The food was not worth the money and it tasted rubbish even though the food looked ok. There was no flavour in the main food. The ‘Garlic-Nan’ is just not well cut garlic with too much butter in on it and is undercooked. The lamb curry had 0 flavour and was way too oily. I really wouldn’t go there again.
We have been here mainly for South Indian tiffins. They have renovated the restaurant and it is really good now for dining very big & spacious. Before it was very congested. We ordered faluda, mysore dosa, ghee roast dosa, metu vada and chicken noodles. I can give 5star for mysore masala dosa. I always prefer mysore masala dosa especially here in Sarasas. Gobi-65 was deep fried it was almost like burnt one & too much oily. All other items were good but not as expected. Prices are too expensive.
Lovely ambience! The service is slow and the wait until you receive your order is very long. The staff is polite The food is tasty! Love the dosas and the sherbet! The food is a bit over priced!
Nice restaurant with delicious food. We ordered ghee roast dosa, chilli paneer dry, mini idli with sambhar, masala papad and mango lassi. Everything was delicious and well served. Staff were nice and genty. I will recommend this restaurant.
We tried team dinner here, the restaurant got more seating and the ambiance looks good.. the staff were friendly and the service was good.. we tried chicken 65, lamb chops, fish chilly, gobi Manchurian, papadi chat, egg fried rice, prawn Briyani, lamb Briyani, butter naan and butter roti.. all the items very good except prawn Briyani and lamb Briyani.. also this restaurant serve South Indian items as well like dosa mini idly.. a good place to try both south and North Indian food
One positive: Dhushi the server is the glue that holds the chaotic mess that the manager obviously doesn't care about because he's an absolute waste of time and space. The manager is why this place stands out as my worst restaurant experience I can remember. Came here for Mother's Day and what an absolute disaster. This manager pictured in pink shirt clearly can't handle a busy and successful restaurant and is probably related to the owner, otherwise why would someone have so little accountability, care so little about his job or how he treats people patronizing his business? We were with someone 8 months pregnant with a booking, and first they give the table they were cleaning to someone else. We ask for beers that were given warm. When we asked the manager why both beers were warm not lukewarm, warm he said "we're busy." As if its an excuse to serve warm draft beer because they're making money. The owner/manager completely dismissed the concerns, and the poor server offered cold bottled beers. Having run a restaurant in the past, staff that treat customers like they're eating there for free and don't respect them or their staff have no place running operations. He clearly is not only incapable of his job, but has disdain for everyone around him. We'll definitely t ell all we know to not return to this location because of his behavior. The manager even advised us as such. Saw another man being led away by his wife after complaining to the same manager and his disdain for doing the basic duties a restaurant owner should do. Then it gets worse! They spill Rasam on the table, cracking the dish and spilling it all over the table. Spills on my clothes and all over the table. The server who is obviously overwhelmed because of the poor managerial skills is stunned, so I have to grab napkins and clean the spilling soup that went all over our clothes, cell phones, and everything. The manager mocked me when I asked if they'd cover cleaning our clothes while I'm acting as staff cleaning the table we were waiting for dishes to be served. Next, they serve drinks in a sit down restaurant in plastic cups because they "ran out of glasses". The reason? They're busy of course! You'd think if they were this busy they could pay for more glasses at least. And the coup de grace, served dosas that were ice cold. After telling the server, he said in broken English "no ice cold". I said "touch it, it couldn't be colder. He repeated no "no ice cold, no ice cold" as he took it away. We knew the service was abysmal here, but arguing about the temperature of the food? It's being taken away, there's a reason I'm sitting here hungry after waiting 1 hour for an ice cold dosa. Talk about Kitchen Nightmares, avoid at all costs. This is the worst restaurant experience I can remember. The manager/owner should be embarrassed for being so greedy/profiteering. I hope things change or this place shuts for good. This place is an embarrassment to our community.
