We had our first takeaway from here last night and it was nothing but DELICIOUS. The best indian takeaway we have tried in the area and will now be definite regulars. The food was piping hot, every dish full of flavour and tasting individual and they added complimentary extras! Even the cabbage salad was a delight.nnWe ordered:nAroma masala a spicer version take on the classic chicken tikka masala; which was bang on, moza chicken tikka, mushroom fried rice one of the most flavourful mushroom rices i’ve ever had from an indian, paneer saag 10/10 and cheese keema naan!
Very nice food if not a little more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for. Friendly and helpful staff when wanting to try something new also, and they serve alcohol as well. I have eaten in and had a takeaway which did not disappoint. With food and drinks for 2 with no starters but poppadoms, 3 sides and 2 mains, 2 pop, 2 draft beer £48, eat in but all very good. Takeaway for 1 and was given 2 poppadoms and source included which was a bonus, with a pint of beer while waiting £16.
Not a busy night so had the whole restaurant to ourselves for a family birthday meal. Was a bit sceptical about the food but was pleasantly surprised. All the food came out fresh, very very flavoursome and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit, saag paneer was one of the best I've ever tasted.
Decided to try here as it's only been open for about 6 months, nice clean place and feels cosy. Served by allam and he is polite, courteous and informative about the food. My wife had chicken korma and I had lamb and chicken phal, which I also asked for extra hot which they did and got the curry spot on plus we had egg fried rice and special naan. I must say the starters and curries were extremely flavourful. Will I go back? Yes, basically to see if this was a one off or to see if this is like it everytime. Well done anyway
Tried here for the first time.nWe ordered mains of chicken and lamb tikka, cheese garlic naans, chips. We received a free fish pakora.nnThe sad:nThe tikka items were disappointing in both quality and value.nBoth of us were very disappointed with the chicken and lamb tikka.nCutting into the meat, by appearance, the marinade had not penetrated at all, and it didn't taste as though it had been given enough marinading time.nMy own tikka is better than this. Consequently there was also very little tikka flavour or succulence to the meat.nnPerhaps the kitchen had ran out of pre-marinaded tikka, as we had ordered after 10 o clock. I don't know.nnThe accompanying yoghurt sauce was also much too sweet to have with the meal.nnThe meat was also not very generously portioned for the price.nnBased on those dishes, we would not order again, it was too late to call and complain at the time.nnThe good nThe naans were delicious tasting and texture perfect, cooked just right, billowy and soft with the right amount of chew.nnThe free fish pakora was moist, and generously portioned, we actually found it more enjoyable than the mains.nnThe service and delivery was also excellent. We received a phone call about our delivery and although it being difficult to find, it was prompt and they had no problems finding us. Each person we spoke to was friendly and professional.
