Nice and friendly club. I enjoyed the course. Well presented for this time of year. It was a sloppy adventure select parts of the course could do with some gravel where it bottlenecks so you don't have to walk through the mud. Good selection of food and beers . I look forward to going back and encouraging others to check it out. We booked through golf now for the deal.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Quite literally in the middle of nowhere so about half an hour drive to any local shops. Lodges were lovely, nice and spacious with so many facilities. Hot tub view was wonderful. Nice and tidy when we arrived. Only negative was the mattresses were quite hard. Definitely will be coming back and recommending to friends and family
The lodge we stayed in was beautiful, and we had everything we needed from pans to extra pillows. The hot tub was lovely and really easy to use - it will be missed! We had a little issue with a power cut but our issue was immediately met by the staff, who were extremely friendly and made sure we were comfortable everytime we saw them. The club is a short drive from Worcester city centre, but just far enough to feel secluded. We would definitely like to visit again - and thank you very much for the complimentary wine on arrival!
Played here a number of times through the summer and into Autumn/Winter 2022. Course is in fantastic condition and certainly benefitting from the money spent on drainage. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere throughout the club and very reasonably priced especially with a county card. A hidden gem. Highly recommended.
IF YOU ARE BOOKING FOR THE HOT TUB - DON’T TAKE THE RISK AS IT MAY NOT WORK. Booked a 2 night trip over the new year mainly because of the hot tub. We were told this may not be hot enough on the first night due to it being cleaned which was fine. However it didn’t heat up the whole time we were there. We called into reception and the guy came to have a look and said all the settings were fine and it should get hot shortly. It never did. It took around a week to get a response to which the lady said as it is working now there is nothing they could do. Except offer a 20% discount for a future booking. To me this is not good enough as I have forked out a lot of money for this trip and paid for a service I didn’t receive. The lodge itself was nice and spacious and clean hence the two stars. Although the wifi doesn’t work and you get no signal on your phone this was fine for us but may bother other people.
Our Gloucester Golf Club Saturday Boy's, had our Away Day at Sapey yesterday Saturday We had a great day course was in good nick, had a lovely meal afterwards, Staff were all very friendly & helpful.
Not played there for about 25yrs, how it's changed,,for the better I must add. I'll certainly be going back. Everyone from the pro to the bar staff made us very welcome. I played rubbish, but had a great day, Thanks Sapey Golf Club
Great course, in fantastic condition for February. Definitely worth a trip.
Good golf course but very bouncy in places & the greens were variable inpace. But great setting & very quiet. Staff were great & food very good.
Come inside.. to enjoy Good and attentive people. Good food . Great event. Especially warming atmosphere when you feel wet or it's cold
