Santander finance Cars from incompetent dealerships. Santander support dealerships selling faulty cars to consumers!! I purchased a car under a Santander finance agreement and within 30 days of me having the car it broke down and multiple things wrong with it and the things that were wrong with it should have been checked before sale. After a complaint to Santander as the car I had I had lost faith in, santander wasn't bothered. I raised the complaint to the Ombudsman and low and behold they side with the dealership.nnIt's nice to know that Santander support dealerships that not only give me 1 faulty car, but 2! Second car was a courtesy car whilst mine was repaired. So thank you santander, will never use you again and will never ever recommend you.nnMy simple request to you was I swap my car for another one that was reliable! Santander must be short of money because they couldn't even uphold that request.nnWorst company I have ever dealt with. Judging by other reviews as its only been given 1.4 stars on Google reviews, I am not alone clearly.
By far the most disgraceful service I’ve ever encountered in my life! Absolutely useless. Impossible to get them on the phone. No one replies to emails and still waiting for my reimbursement nearly 2 months!!!
Dreadful customer service as the amount of failures they make are just unacceptable, but they seem to think it's ok. A could not give a damnnattitude is employed here. I've had 2 big issues with them.nFirst was they never set up my direct debit properly.nThen when I moved address last year and told them, they never updated it.nGood aren't they?nPlus, I'm going through divorce and told them of stress they've caused in trying to sort my finance matters in regards to divorce proceedings.nAll they said was 'sorry' but I'm sure they just wanted to say 'get stuffed' or words to that effect.
Constantly on hold whenever trying to contact them, told me I would be holding around 10 mins, it’s now 43 minutes and still waiting..how can a company as big as Santander not have enough staff to answer there phones?! Joke..
Refusing application for car finance to a person with very very high credit score, without giving any reason. Didn’t missed to leave hard check trail in the credit report though.
