If at an event in the Leas Cliff Hall, be prepared to spend some time in the queue to pay for parking - allow say 30 mins. For frequent users, it may be better to have an account via the App to save the wait.
Lots of spaces. Reasonable prices covered car park. Pay on exit. No barriers or tokens just put your reg in and it tells you what you owe. Pay and drive off simple. Near to the shops and high street. Beach is also an easy walk.
ANPR equipped car park and pay on exit. But the payment system doesn't show price until you pay or rent your card which was weird. The prices are bit high but found its almost same everywhere except the streets. Worst thing I noted is exit doesn't have barrier to stop cars which was weird. So better to have your steering locked if parking here. The location was good just 5 min to beach. But mind that going to shore takes atleast 15 min with zigzag walk i could find easy way with buggy. If you have buggies climbing back again is breath taking. Take some rest on the way up :-
AVOID!!! All day parking charges have gone up from £5.50 last week to now £10.80nAbsolutely disgusting increase considering all the financial struggles going on.nAs per usual poor council decisions leading to bankruptcy no doubt and recouping the losses through the members of public.
Free parking is possible here, but due to the lack of cameras a couple of years ago, several cars burned down here, apparently there was arson
