Absolutely amazing. A full 5 star experience. The Nordic Spa at Cheltenham Lido is a must do this winter. I couldn't take many photos inside, but trust me, the saunas are on a completely different level. Don't miss it
A beautiful lido. It has a really big main pool with half sectioned for lane swimming during the open swim session, so you can still swim. There is a slide on the open part. Great cafe, which is cheap. Fantastic ticket value for the facilities.
Heated pool that definitely did not feel heated, it was freezing!nBut good facilities, changing rooms are a bit dated and one of hair dryers in the ladies was broken.
This year was the first time I have visited Lido since I came to Cheltenham. I am so happy I got the chance to enjoy such a good time, relaxing in the nice and fresh pool, doing a bit of swimming I am not the best of swimmers, but I'll float. First two times we've been there wasn't so busy, the third time it got way busier because kids started the Summer holidays, so it was a little bit of wait in the queue, but no more than maybe 10 minutes. We did booked the tickets in advance always. There's a café restaurant there as well where you can buy food. I've had the double cheeseburger with cheesy fries and it's a very generous portion, so make sure you have the appetite to finish it. Highly recommend it for an enjoyable family time.
Cold! Stated by staff and website as heated. To a certain degree yes. But even in the lovely 25 degree evening it was freezing - teeth chattering, goose bump kind. And all in the pool was struggling with it. Pool wasn’t spotless, but grubby. And very poorly maintained changing rooms. I will say we still had a great time regardless but it’s a shame it wasn’t heated more
