Lovely pool, first visit to the lido for a dog swim event.nnParking is pay on exit and can use cash or card.nI used cash, also from reading reviews easier to use cash:
This year was the first time I have visited Lido since I came to Cheltenham. I am so happy I got the chance to enjoy such a good time, relaxing in the nice and fresh pool, doing a bit of swimming I am not the best of swimmers, but I'll float. First two times we've been there wasn't so busy, the third time it got way busier because kids started the Summer holidays, so it was a little bit of wait in the queue, but no more than maybe 10 minutes. We did booked the tickets in advance always. There's a café restaurant there as well where you can buy food. I've had the double cheeseburger with cheesy fries and it's a very generous portion, so make sure you have the appetite to finish it. Highly recommend it for an enjoyable family time.
Pretty quiet when we were here, lunch time on a weekday, so plenty of room to swim. Not too cold either.nThere was a small sauna at the side as well, although that wasn't too hot!
Lovely walk exercise equipment for wheelchair users was a nice surprisenThe Link garden at the top was beautiful.
Lovely pool , we were there for the dog swim but have also used it for normal swimming during the summer. Plenty of space , feels safe with plenty of lifeguards but can get busy in peak times.
