Stopped in for a flat white but ended up stopping in and bought a marmite scone and the upgraded to the single origin guest espresso on offer. Scone was super light and fluffy, great flavour with a high quality butter served alongside. Coffee was excellent, really juicy and fruity. Happy to pay a bit extra for a special brew. Highly recommend
Alex is always welcoming, and happy to chat. The coffee is the best coffee around. The pastries are always fresh and tasty. Always a good selection. The toilet whilst small, is always clean. The venue is intimate so be prepared to chat!
Visited yesterday for the first time and had super tasty coffee, marmite scones and fiiine cakes. Great service and the staff are very friendly. Good seating too. All in all, the best cosy cafe in Derby.
This was my second visit to Sanchines Coffee Shop in Duffield. On my first visit, I was warmly welcomed by a gentleman whose name I, unfortunately, didn’t catch. His exceptional customer service made a lasting impression.nnToday, the service was provided by a different staff member—a woman—who wasn’t quite as attentive. However, towards the end of my visit, I had the chance to speak with the same gentleman from my first visit, and once again, his service stood out as exceptional.nnThe food here is excellent. Both times, I had a delicious latte. On my first visit, I also enjoyed a wonderful pecan muffin, while today, I had a fantastic banana chocolate loaf.nnOverall, my experience was wonderful, thanks largely to the outstanding service of that gentleman. He truly elevates what would otherwise be a typical coffee shop.
We’ve been going to Sanchini’s in Duffield since it opened and it’s always a pleasure. The coffee is consistently great, the cakes are excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s got a nice, relaxed atmosphere — perfect for a quick coffee or a catch-up with friends.nnA lovely independent spot that’s become a real part of the village.
