We stayed here in Feb-26 for two nights. The hotel is perfect for a budget trip, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a good buffet breakfast. Location is great, although we didn't have a sea view, which would have been better we didn't book a room with a sea view tbh. The room was initially very warm, but once we worked out the heating/AC it was fine.
When we arrived on 25th May we were greeted by Jodie on reception who was very busy working on her own but kept smiling and made us welcome from the outset which was very important. The room was lovely with a sea view and we really enjoyed our stay, many thanks Jodie you are a credit to the hotel see you again soon.
Excellent roast dinner - the beef was really tasty and well presented. Massive portions too. The desert selection was great - highly recommend the lemon meringue!nThe staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere was lovely.nWill definitely be back!
The food we had was not very good at all. Two of us had the chicken pie, it looked like someone had poured a cheap tin of chicken soup into a bowl then covered it with a puff pastry top. My wife had fish and chips that looked and tasted as if it was kept warm but not heated through. This was our first time there and the last. The staff were very good though.
Lovely hotel, staff was super friendly. Great location and included breakfast was nice!nAir-conditioning in rooms, with was great in June when we visited! Only thing I can say room could have have been a bit cleaner, the odd hair in the bed here and there and stains on the carpet. But we would definitely come back and enjoyed our stay!
