I don't want to repeat an unsatisfactory dining experience. In summary, this is the first time I have refused to pay the service charge. The dining environment is comfortable, the receptionist and the bartender are attentive and friendly, but the food is quite mediocre. The seafood is not very fresh, and the service staff in the dining area lack any sense or willingness to provide service. Such a service team is truly a torment for guests who come to enjoy good food. Having been to many different San Carlo restaurants, I won't come back to this one and definitely wouldn't recommend it.
Beautiful food exactly the same high standard as the Manchester Restaurant. Lovely welcome from the hosts and bar staff. Superb service from the professional waiter who's expertise were clear to see. Very experienced and knowledgeable . Everything was perfect. The food came hot and with great timing. Perfect atmosphere for a Monday lunch. Ad usual very good with children we will be back very soon.
Excellent food as always! Beautiful decor, especially the lighting and stairway. The lobster and steak sharing meal is incredible, especially with truffle sauce.nnStaff were lovely, helpful and for the most part attentive, apart from a short wait on ordering dessert and the bill but it was a busy Saturday night and we were a reasonably large table.nnWe were sat at the back of the restaurant so did notice a lot of bin / laundry runs through the dining area which whilst unavoidable, did take away from the atmosphere a little.nnWould definitely come again!
The service and staff are great! But for £16:50 for a carbonara and the pasta wasn’t fresh I couldn’t believe it. I had high expectations because it’s raved about in Alderley. However, I would never pay such high prices for that food.
My mum and I visited last night Friday night we hadn't booked a table but sat at the bar and had a couple of glasses of champagne. Marcelo and the girls on the desk were fantastic at getting us a table and we dined at 7.30pm, fantastic food, amazing service, gorgeous decor, money well spent, so classy and great atmosphere very classy and a lovely buzz. All staff were great, we were treated so well, the doorman walking people to and from their cars with an umbrella was a lovely touch, and Guiseppi made our experience extra special, felt like we were really taken care of. Thanks so much we will be back!
