Matthew and Rosie were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived for our 2nd visit. The rooms were very clean with great views over the harbour Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked with plenty of choice. We are booked in again for next year. Thoroughly recommend a stay at this guest house Nearby activities: Good position for harbour and shops also for visiting Dartmouth and Totnes etc Food & drinks: Lots of good restaurants on Brixham, offering high end to basic choices.

This is a wonderful place to stay, mind blowing views you can watch for hours. Great breakfasts four different Marmites! They cater for gluten free and other dietary needs and are very friendly. We recommend booking the parking space if you're driving as the town centre car park is short stay only and their space in right in the centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the fantastic Brixham Town which has everything within walking distance. Have a chat to your hosts while planning your visits, they have a wealth of knowledge and can help you get the most of your stay.
Delightful b and b, lovely room , bright clean and airy. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, plenty of choice. Outstanding views of brixham and the harbour and overlooking Torbay. Hosts Matthew and Rosie were very welcoming and helpful. Look forward to our stay again in the near future.Rooms: 5/5
When we booked we thought it was for a room , however we had booked the cottage and it came with a kitchenette and a small living area. Fabulous! Mathew and Rosie are so lovely and made our stay great . The breakfast is fantastic from full English , fresh fruit and cearels . All layed out beautifully. Very clean though out .. Much so we've booked for another 2 day break in August. I recommend this very much .location is over looking the Harbour. You will not be disappointed.
The fisherman's cottage is very clean and comfortable, the facilities are marvellous. A wonderful choice for breakfast they never fail to surprise us with the choice there is. We also had an extra night in one of the main B&B rooms which was also extremely comfortable. Would happily recommend if looking to stay in Brixham overlooking the harbour and parking space available.
The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and plush and made our 5 night stay very smooth. We had a great view of the harbour and a wonderful sight to see every morning and evening. We were also aided with lots of local information for our daily jaunt. Great variety of choices for Breakfast which was very much appreciated and personal care given to our needs for breakfast. Would highly recommend this B&B.
The best I've ever stayed in and I have perhaps traveled half the world. Breakfast is scrumptious, coffee fresh, best scrambled eggs after my wifes. Very welcoming, always there for a chat. Matthew and Rose you could show others how it's done.

First time staying at Sampford House after it was recommended to us…. Matthew and Rosie are absolutely wonderful and could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible…food was excellent, rooms immaculate, comfortable beds and what a fantastic location…overlooking the harbour offering the very best of Brixham…. We look forward to visiting again next year and would now never stay anywhere else…
